While most standard turbochargers utilize a turbine housing to direct the hot gases around the turbine wheel, Chrysler’s latest design is contoured to accept the turbine wheel and cartridge assembly directly into the exhaust manifold. The two components are then joined together via a single clamp to complete the Turbofold assembly.
